Badger’s Island Pizza will place temporary restrictions on our delivery service starting August 16th (Monday). We are operating at about 50% less staff (8 employees) than our normal roster. We have been unable to hire sufficient staff even at inflated hourly wages to handle the demand for our food.
BIP’s delivery service has always been FREE and handled by our own drivers. We have elected not to use 3rd party food delivery services based on the cost that gets passed on to the customer and their inability to provide enough drivers to handle the large daily number of deliveries we do.
There will be certain times and days of the week in which we will not have a driver/drivers at all. We will notify you at the time you call for a delivery order if we can do it. We may also restrict our normal delivery area during staffing constraints. These restrictions may include any location in New Hampshire due to stranding a driver at the open draw bridges. We will do our very best to deliver to you but if we can’t we ask that you respect the decision without argument.
Deliveries to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Wednesday through Friday will be unaffected and those customers can continue to order per the guidelines on our website.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
